Ward 64 residents urged to switch off non-essential appliances - Southlands Sun

WHILE residents could breathe a sigh of relief after electricity and water were restored after a massive outage that lasted over three days, a municipal team is still investigating why the system is experiencing a higher-than-normal load. ALSO READ: Electricity outage ends Ward 64 councillor Gavin Hegter is urging residents to switch off all non-essential appliances to avoid further damage to the system. “Any residents who have still not had supply restored are requested to log a new fault,” added Hegter.
